Lebkuchen hearts, also known as German gingerbread hearts, are traditional biscuit started by German baker Gustav Tschernich in Munich in the Sixties. He was fed up with the fragility of chocolate hearts so invented Lebkuchen hearts instead. They were a huge hit!
Measuring approx. 13cm x 13cm our Lebckuchen heart is hand iced, air brushed and painted. It comes in a presentation box and can be posted direct to the recipient with a personalised message.
